| §. 9. Die übermäßige Sexte hat in unserm Accord allezeit die reine Quinte und große Terz bey sich. Die Quinte liegt gemeiniglich vorher (a); wenn der Baß liegen bleibt, so kann sie auch frey angeschlagen werden, wobey zuweilen die Sexte ebenfalls unvorbereitet ist (b). Die letztere sollte eigentlich um ein Achttheil später eintreten, wie wir bey (c) sehen. Die Sexte geht in der Folge in die Höhe, die Quinte bleibt liegen, tritt aber endlich auch eine Stufe herunter: | §9. The augmented sixth in the 6/5/3 chord always has the perfect fifth and major third. The fifth is usually prepared (a); if the bass remains held, then the fifth can also enter freely, whereby the sixth is occasionally unprepared as well (b). The sixth should actually enter one eighth-note later, as seen at (c). The augmented sixth subsequently ascends and the fifth remains held at first, but eventually also descends by step: |
