§. 10. Weil bey der dreystimmigen Begleitung ein Intervall verloren gehet, so muß man sie hier ohne Noth nicht brauchen, und, wenn sie nöthig ist, genau bemerken, welches Intervall zu missen ist. Die Terz, die reine Quinte und auch die Sexte, wenn diese letztere zumal die falsche Quinte bey sich hat, können nach Beschaffenheit der Umstände weggelassen werden. Wenn unsere Aufgabe im Durchgange vorkommt, so wird die Quinte nicht aufgelöset, sondern bleibt liegen; hier thut die Terz dazu nicht gut, man läßt sie daher lieber weg, und greift die Sexte und Quinte allein. Bey folgenden Exempeln werden die, vor der 6/5 hergehenden Aufgaben, wobey die 5 zum Sextquintenaccord schon liegt, ebenfalls dreystimmig abgefertiget *):	§10. Because an interval is omitted in three-voice accompaniment, it must not be used here without necessity, and, when it is necessary, one must note exactly which interval is to be omitted. The third, the perfect fifth, and also the sixth (when accompanied by the diminished fifth), can, according to the circumstances, be omitted. If this occurs in passing, then the fifth is not resolved, but remains held; the third is of no benefit here—it is better to omit it and just play the sixth and fifth. In the following examples, the chords that precede the 6/5, where the 5 in the 6/5 is prepared, are also realized in three parts *):
