Wenn aber dergleichen Gedanken stark vorgetragen werden sollen, und die Terzen und Sexten nicht zu nahe beysammen liegen, so kann man die Begleitung mit dem Einklange oder unisono brauchen, und die Grundnoten verdoppeln. Wenn die letzteren nicht zu tief herunter moduliren, so nimmt man diese Verdoppelung lieber eine Octave tiefer als höher. Dieser Fall kommt zuweilen in Sinfonien und Concerten vor, wo die zwey Violinen zusammen, und die Bratsche mit dem Basse auch zusammen im Einklange fortgehen. Z. E. | §4. If, however, this kind of passage should be performed loudly, and the thirds and sixths do not lie too close to each other, then one can use a unison accompaniment and double the bass notes [at the octave]. If the latter do not descend too low, then this doubling is better an octave lower, rather than an octave higher. Such cases sometimes occur in symphonies and concerti, where the two violins play together at the unison, as do the violas and basses: |
