| §. 9. Folgende Exempel werden meine Meynung deutlicher erklären. Eine genaue Andeutung der Ziffern ist auch hier besonders nöthig. Bey (a) kann die Secunde bey unserm Accorde mit da seyn, und auch nicht, nachdem es verlanget wird. In den letztern Exempeln gehet die Sexte in die Quinte, indem die Septime und Quarte liegen bleiben. Die Exempel mit der großen Sexte klingen nur in der vorgeschriebenen Lage gut. | §9. The following examples clarify my intentions. Here an accurate reading of the figures is especially necessary. At (a) the second may or may not be present with the chord of the major seventh, depending on whether it is indicated. In the latter examples the sixth goes to the fifth, while the seventh and fourth remain held. The example with the major sixth only sounds good in the indicated position. |
