Man gehe sogleich an die Probe-Stücke, man lehre sie erstlich ohne Manieren, welche besonders zu üben sind, um hernach mit denenselben nach denen Regeln, welche in dem Capitel von dem guten Vortrage abgehandelt sind, zu spielen. Dieses muß im Anfange auf dem Clavicorde allein geschehen, hernach kann man mit dem Flügel abwechseln.

§19. Proceed then immediately to the Probestücke and teach these first without ornaments, which should be practiced separately, and then with them according to the rules treated in the chapter on good performance. In the beginning you should do this only on the clavichord; afterward you can alternate with the harpsichord.
