§. 21. Die Fig. V. [Ex. I:189] befindlichen Noten spielt man so, daß der Anfang des Bogens mit dem Finger einen kleinen Druck kriegt.	§21. The notes in Ex. I:189 are played with a little pressure at the beginning of the slurs.

Die Noten bey Fig. VI. [Ex. I:190] werden eben so gespielt, nur mit dem Unterscheid, daß das Ende des Bogens nicht ausgehalten wird, weil man den Finger bald aufheben muß.	The notes in Ex. I:190 are executed in the same manner, but with the difference that those at the end of the slurs are not held as the finger needs to be released quickly.

Der Ausdruck bey Fig. IV. [Ex. I:188] geht nur auf dem Clavicorde an;	The execution in Ex. I:188 is possible only on the clavichord.

der bey V. und VI. aber so wohl auf dem Flügel als Clavicorde obschon auf dem letztern viel deutlicher als auf dem erstern. Der Ausdruck bey Fig. V. [Ex. i:189] und VI. [Ex. I:190] muß nicht mit dem Ausdrucke bey Fig. VI. [Ex. I:190] (a) verwechselt werden. Anfänger begehen diesen Fehler leicht.	Ex. I:189 and ex. I:190 can be executed both on the harpsichord and the clavichord, yet much more clearly on the latter. The performance of Ex. I:189 and Ex. I:190 must not be confused with that of Ex. I:190 (a). This is an error that beginners easily make.
