§. 20. Eine lange und affectuöse Note verträgt eine Bebung, indem man mit dem auf der Taste liegen bleibenden Finger solche gleichsam wiegt; das Zeichen davon sehen wir bey Fig. IV. [Ex. I:188] (a). Der Anfang einer Bebung wird am besten in der Mitte der Geltung einer Note gemacht.	§20. A particularly affective long note may have a vibrato [Bebung]: the finger remains on the key while gently rocking it, as it were. Ex. I:188 (a) shows its symbol. The vibrato starts best in the middle of a note.
