| §. 17. Das Anschlagen der Tasten oder ihr Druck ist einerley. Alles hänget von der Stärke oder von der Länge desselben ab. Die Noten, welche gestoßen werden sollen, werden sowohl durch darüber gesetzte Strichelchen als auch durch Puncte bezeichnet Tab. VI. Fig. I. [Ex. | Man muß mit Unterschied abstoßen, und die Geltung der Note, ob solche ein halber Tact, Viertheil oder Achtheil ist, ob die Zeit-Maaße hurtig oder langsam, ob der Gedanke forte oder piano ist, erwegen; diese Noten werden allezeit etwas weniger als die Hälfte gehalten. Ueberhaupt kann man sagen, daß das Stoßen mehrentheils bey springenden Noten und in geschwinder Zeit-Maaße vorkommt. | One must play staccato with discernment, and consider whether the note value lasts half a measure, or is a quarter note, or an eighth note, whether the tempo is fast or slow, whether the passage is forte or piano. Such notes are always executed a little less than half their notated value. As a general rule it can be said that staccato occurs mostly on leaping notes and in a fast tempo. |
