| §. 6. Diese Manier liebt das sehr geschwinde und das sehr langsame, das gleichgültige und das alleraffectuöseste, und wird also auf zweyerley sehr verschiedene Art gebraucht. (1) Bey geschwinden Sachen zur Ausfüllung und zum Schimmer; hier stellt sie bequem einen Triller von unten ohne Nachschlag vor, wenn die Kürze der Note zu diesem Triller nicht hinreichen will Fig. XC. [Ex. I:173], und wird allezeit geschwinde gemacht. Die folgenden Noten können gehen oder springen. | §6. This ornament works well in very fast and very slow tempos, with both the plainest and the most passionate expression, and is thus used in two quite different ways. First, in fast pieces for filling out and providing brilliance—here it easily represents a trill from below without termination if the notes are too short for the trill, Ex. I:173—it is always played quickly. The following notes may move stepwise or by leap. |
