§. 13. Das übrige zum Vortrage dieser Manier ist bey Fig. XCIII. [Ex. I:176] unter (1) und (2) abgebildet. Wir finden allda, daß die Note mit dem Puncte stark, die darauf folgende hingegen sammt der Haupt-Note schwach gespielt wird.	§13. For what remains concerning the execution of the slide, see Ex. I:176 (1) and (2), where we find that the dotted note is played forte and both the following one and the main note piano.
Der Punct über dem kleinen Bogen (1) bedeutet, daß über dieser Note der Finger eher aufgehoben werden muß, als die Geltung dauret, folglich wird, wie bey (2) zu sehen ist, aus dem Puncte nach der Haupt-Note eine Pause.	The staccato dot at the end of the slur in (1) means that the finger should be released earlier than the note value would require. Consequently, the dot is executed as a rest in (2).
