| §. 33. Hierbey muß man es aber nicht bewenden lassen, sondern mit ihnen über beydes urtheilen; man fordre von jeder Note gleichsam Rechenschaft; man mache ihnen Einwurfe, welche sie mit Gründen, warum z. E. diese und jene Note so, und nicht anders da stehen könne, aus dem Wege räumen müssen.

§33. One cannot let it go at that, however, for one must deliver a judgment on both; one requires accountability of every note, so to speak; one interrogates the pupil, requiring him to defend with reasons why, for example, this or that note must be precisely here and not there.
