§. 13. Bey folgenden Exempeln aber ist es nöthig, die Sexte mit dem Erhöhungszeichen anzudeuten, und wer es nicht thut, der setzt einen in der Modulation nicht genug geübten Begleiter in eine Verlegenheit und Verwirrung, anstatt, daß er, ihm eine Bequemlichkeit zu verschaffen, glaubt. Bey dem letzten Exempel kann man auch, statt der Sexte, die doppelte Secunde, als eine Vorausnahme des folgenden Dreyklanges, nehmen:	§13. In the following examples it is necessary, however, to indicate the sixth with a chromatically raised accidental; whoever fails to do so causes embarrassment and confusion, rather than convenience, for the accompanist who is insufficiently familiar with voice leading [Modulation]. In the last example one can also play a doubled second as an anticipation of the following triad, instead of the sixth:
