| §. 6. Eine langsame Modulation durch halbe Töne, wobey unsre Quinte vorkommt, wird dreystimmig begleitet. Diese halben Töne in der Hauptstimme schicken sich nicht wohl in eine geschwinde Zeitmaaß: wenn sie aber ja vorkommen sollten, so werden sie nicht mitgespielt: | §6. A slow progression [Modulation] in semitones, where our augmented fifth occurs, is accompanied in three voices. These semitones in the principal voice do not sound good in a fast tempo; if they must occur, however, then the accompanist omits them. |
