| §. 5. Man nimmt den Sextenaccord mit der Octave am seltensten, etwa bey einzelnen Grundnoten mit der 6, und aus Noth, wenn es die Dissonanzen fordern u. s. w. Man verdoppelt lieber die Terz oder Sexte und läßt die Octave weg. | §5. The octave is the least common interval to take with the 6-chord, occurring on single bass notes with a 6, and when necessary, if the dissonances require it, etc. It is better to double the third or sixth and omit the octave. |
