§10. One must indicate, via figures over the bass, the place where the unison accompaniment should stop and the harmony should return. If the first bass note [to be accompanied harmonically] has a triad, which is otherwise realized without a figure, then one must indicate at least one of the figures contained therein over the bass [8, 5, or 3].
