| §. 5. Wenn man bey dem Dreyklang zur Grundnote, statt der Terz, die Quarte nimmt, so hat man unsern Accord in Händen. Man lernt durch dieses Hülfsmittel die Lage und Auflösung der Quarte leicht kennen. | §5. If one begins with a triad over the bass note, and takes the fourth instead of the third, then one has the 5/4 chord in the hand. By this means one easily learns to recognize the location and resolution of the fourth. |
