Perhaps I should add a little family history before ending... My father was John Wuerflein. On my [mother's] side, my grandfather's name was Kern. My mother was Margaret Kern and she married my father in 1872 after he came back from the war of 1870-71. They lived in the village of Moratneustetten and raised four sons and two daughters. They are all gone except me. They all came to America during the late 1890's and early 1900's, except my father who died in Germany in 1904. My mother and I came in June 1905. I married Albert Klammer and we raised ten children, four girls and six boys: Margaret married Martin Doctor of Fort Wayne Oct. 14, 1939 He divorced her. Theodore married Loretta Heidelbach on Apr. 26, 1941 She died in April, 1975 He will marry Harriet Mehlberg Aug. 7, 1976 Gerhardt married Edna Meier on May 9, 1942 She divorced him in 1975 Edward married Gwen Anderson on Apr. 27, 1943 Werner married Ruth Busacker on June 7, 1947 Dorothy married Luther Kohn on Dec. 27, 1944. He was in the Navy then. Martin married Carolyn Plackemeier on July 11, 1947 Enno married Dottie Theiss on June 15, 1952 Monica married Louis King Dec. 28, 1952 Ruth married Alan Knoll on Sept. 15, 1952 Margaret's children are Dianne and Nancy Ted's children are Susan (dec.), Thomas, Miriam, Margaret Gary's children are Linda, Judith, Bethany, Constance Ed's children are Katherine and Carol Werner's children are Timothy, RuthAnn, Mark, Joel, Daniel Dorothy's children are Christine, James, Karen Martin's children are Janice, Michael, Paul, David, Julie Beth Enno's children are Gretchen, Heidi, Lisa, Martin, Peter Monica's children are Martin, Richard and Peggy Ruth's children are David and Deborah (twins), Steven, Mark, Rebecca Andrew There are 38 living grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren at this time. The Bible tells us children are a blessing and so we have been blessed indeed!
