§29. In the first case [bassline alone], one writes t. s., tasto, or tasto solo over the bassline; in the second case [bassline doubled] all’unisono or unisoni. Since these indications are often missing, I will, through my commentary and examples, give the opportunity to advise where one-voice accompaniment is appropriate.
