§. 10. Zur Verstärkung kann man zuweilen zur fünften Stimme die große und kleine Secunde doppelt nehmen; auch außerdem, um den üblen Sprung mit der übermäßigen Quarte zu bedecken. Die große Secunde, wenn sie bey der kleinen Sexte ist, und die übermäßige Secunde überhaupt vertragen diese Verdoppelung niemals.	§10. For reinforcement one may occasionally take as a fifth voice the doubled major or minor second; or alternatively, merely to conceal the bad leap of the augmented fourth. Neither the major second, when together with the minor sixth, nor the augmented second in any context ever tolerate such a doubling.
