The example marked (b) above shows the fourth added to the 6–chord (colored notehead), even though the fourth is not explicit in the figure, resulting in smooth, closed voiced leading.

The second example (b) shows increased right-hand shifting compared to the first example if the third is doubled instead adding the fourth to the 6–chord.


The second example (b) is incorrectly labeled "(c)" in the Versuch and in CPEB:CW.
