7. Capitel. Vom Terzquartenaccord
2. Abtheilung.
Chapter 7. On the 6/4/3 chord
Section 2.
§. 1. Wenn man zur großen Sexte mit der kleinen Terz die reine Quarte, ohne ausdrückliche Andeutung nimmt (a), so vermeidet man dadurch zuweilen Fehler (aa); §1. If one takes the perfect fourth with the major sixth and minor third, although the fourth is not explicitly indicated (a), then one occasionally avoids errors (aa);

The example marked (a) shows the fourth (colored notehead) added to the 6-chord, even though the fourth is not explicit in the 6 figure.

If the fifth of the chord (third above the bass) is doubled instead of adding the fourth, parallel fifths are created as shown in example (aa).

Example (a) is incorrectly labeled "(b)" in the Versuch and in CPEB:CW, and both examples are oddly placed between examples (c) and (d). They have here been pulled forward to the more logical place in the discussion.
