§. 33. Wenn also der Baß um zwey Stufen steigt: so behält man die Intervalle, welche zur letzten Note schon da sind, und nimmt nur die Quinte aufs neue dazu:	§33. Thus if the bass ascends by two steps, then one retains those intervals that are already present over the last bass note, and adds the fifth to the new chord:
