| §. 28. Man kann den Grund zum Accompagnement nicht besser legen, als wenn man seine Schüler alle vier und zwanzig Accorde aufs genaueste lernen läßt. Dieses muß nach und nach geschehen; man läßt sie diese Accorde in allen drey Lagen auf der ganzen Tastatur hinauf und herunter greifen. Im Anfange ist man zufrieden, wenn dieses langsam geschiehet; nach und nach aber muß man beständig auf eine mehrere Hurtigkeit dieser Uebung dringen, damit die Hände endlich die nöthige Fertigkeit erhalten, jeden Accord, welchen man nur will, sogleich ohne Anstoß anzuschlagen. | §28. It is impossible to lay a better foundation for accompaniment than when one has his pupils learn with the greatest precision all twenty-four ordinary chords. This must occur gradually; one has pupils play these chords in all three positions up and down the entire keyboard. In the beginning one must be content if this happens slowly; but little by little one must insist constantly on a faster tempo for this exercise, so that the hands truly acquire the necessary dexterity to strike each and every chord immediately and without hesitation. |
