Chapter 19. On the 9/4 chord

§. 7. Folgende Exempel werden ebenfalls dreystimmig begleitet. Bey dem zweyten Exempel (a) scheint es, als ob weder die None noch Quarte vorbereitet wären: bey (b) hingegen siehet man das Gegentheil, sobald die Vorschläge weg sind. Die Begleitung beyder Exempel ist nicht anders, als die Ausführung bey (a).	§7. The following examples are also accompanied in three voices. In the second example at (a), it would appear as if neither the ninth nor the fourth were prepared; in contrast, at (b) one sees the opposite, if one omits the appoggiaturas. The accompaniment of both examples is the same as at (a).
