| §. 5. Die None hat auf dem System mit der Secunde einerley Sitz, ist aber in der Begleitung, Vorbereitung und Auflösung von ihr sehr unterschieden. Bey der Secunde stecket die Dissonanz im Basse, wo sie vorbereitet und aufgelöset wird. Bey der None hingegen ist die Dissonanz in dem obersten Termino, wo ihre Vorbereitung und Auflösung vor sich gehet. Den Unterschied der Begleitung dieser zwey Dissonanzen haben wir theils schon gesehen, und werden in diesen und folgenden Capiteln noch mehr davon überführet werden. | §5. The ninth indicates the same tone as the second, but is quite different in its accompaniment, preparation, and resolution. With the second the dissonance is in the bass, where it is prepared and resolved. By contrast, with the ninth the dissonance is the upper tone, which is prepared and resolved. We have already seen some of the differences in the accompaniment of these two dissonances, and will encounter more examples of them in this and the following chapters. |
